EPS Blocks

EPS blocks offer a combination of light weight, strength, and versatility, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.

  • Void Fill: They are used to fill voids in construction projects, providing a lightweight soil/aggregate replacement that reduces the load on underlying structures.
  • Structural Support: EPS blocks can support concrete walls and slabs to maintain stability and strength.
  • Geofoam: EPS blocks are used in various civil engineering projects, including highway construction – retaining walls & road embankments.
  • Film & TV Sets: EPS blocks are often used to create lightweight, easily movable set pieces.
  • Floatation Devices: Due to their buoyancy, EPS blocks are used in docks, pontoons, and other floatation devices.

100% recyclable

EPS is a 100% recyclable product. EPS can be recycled in many different ways such as thermal densification and compression.

A lifetime

EPS insulation has a long lifetime in buildings and so there is only limited current need to recycle this material.

Non-foam Applications

Recycled EPS can be molded into new applications such as coat hangers, picture frames, flower pots, park benches or fence posts.

Reground and Mixed

EPS waste can also be reground and mixed with concrete to produce building products such as prefabricated light weight concrete blocks.

Performance

Adding EPS regrind also increases the thermal performance of these products.

Infrastructures

EPS industry also developed collection infrastructures to support global recycling efforts.
